From seed to your table
No soil. No seasons. No pesticides. Every tray of microgreens — and every edible bloom — moves through the same five stages, mastered once and repeated every week, then cut the morning it reaches you.
The Five Stages
Seed Prep
Seeds are weighed to a precise density for each crop. Large seeds like sunflower and pea shoots soak 8–12 hours; small seeds such as radish and broccoli sow dry.
Sow
Seeds are spread evenly over pre-moistened coconut coir in food-grade 1020 trays. Even sowing is the difference between a clean harvest and a wasted one.
Germinate
Trays rest in darkness under a light weight for 2–4 days. The pressure drives even sprouting and anchors the root mat — no soil required.
Light & Green Up
Trays move under full-spectrum LED for 12–16 hours a day. Greens stand, color, and build flavor over 4–10 days, while continuous airflow keeps South Florida’s humidity — and mold — in check.
Harvest
Cut at the stem with a sanitized blade the morning of delivery. Cold, dry, and in your hands before the day is out — no warehouse, no transit delay.
Our Growing Medium
We grow in premium washed coconut coir — a soilless, food-safety-defensible medium with no biological soil-amendment concerns. No synthetic fertilizers. No pesticides. Ever.
Traceability & Food Safety
Every tray is logged across a three-stage record system — seed lot → batch → harvest. We can trace which seed lot grew your greens, the day they were sown, and the morning they were cut, for every unit we deliver.
After It Leaves the Farm
Freshness is a partnership. Our Storage & Care guide shows how to keep cut greens crisp for a week or more and how to handle delicate edible flowers.
