Blend and drink within the hour — the colour and the nutrients both fade after that.

- 2 oz — broccoli microgreens

- 1 tbsp — almond butter
- ½ — lime, juiced
- 1 tsp — honey or maple (optional)

- Serve
Pour and drink within the hour.
What the microgreens are doing here.
No green taste
Broccoli shoots have almost none of the sulfur bitterness of mature broccoli.
Sulforaphane intact
The compound broccoli is known for is heat-sensitive — blending raw preserves it.
Five minutes
No chopping, no cooking, no cleanup beyond the jug.
Variations and pairings
Higher protein
Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or ½ cup Greek yogurt.
Tropical
Swap mango for pineapple and add fresh mint.
Berry version
Frozen mixed berries instead of mango — the colour goes muddy but the taste is good.
Sharper
Add ½ oz radish microgreens for a peppery edge.
